Hi, I am Alyse Futch.

I’m Alyse! -Your local professional portrait, event, and wedding photographer. Located in my hometown: Moultrie, Georgia.

My passion for photography started during high school. I started shooting and developing 35mm film in the darkroom here at the local arts center when I was only 16 years old in 2006. The thing that makes me so happy as a photographer is knowing that I have made my clients happy and that they adore their images. Since I was a little girl, I wanted to make a positive impact on this world. Even though portrait photography isn't a monumental accomplishment, I take pride in the fact that I have provided so many people with images that they will cherish their entire lives.

My Education has been very important to me and has helped me become a better photographer to serve all my client's needs. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree specializing in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013. I became a certified professional photographer in 2015 after officially establishing “Alyse Futch Photography LLC" in the state of Georgia. I also continually read and research and keep up to date with the world of photography as it evolves.

Let's Get Personal

As a young child, I loved running down the dirt road to the designated spot I knew honeysuckles grew and picking them to suck out the nectar. I loved the freeing feeling of riding down the dirt roads in the back of my grandparent's truck; despite dreading the inevitable fact that my hair would end up in tangles and have to be painfully brushed out. My imagination and curiosity would entertain me for hours, even when I was alone. When I was four, my mother gave birth to my only sibling, my brother Alex. We were always very close growing up and remain close today.

I always enjoyed playing with barbie dolls and loved the idea of a strong independent woman like barbie. I wasn't as fond of baby dolls and never really dreamed of becoming a mother growing up. Although, once I became a mother, I realized that having children is a gift from God and such a huge blessing. Now that I am a mother, I could not imagine my life any other way. I currently have an nine-year-old daughter named Chloe and a one-year-old daughter named Amelia.

When I went through college, the goal was to move to a big city and be an editorial photographer or travel as a documentary photographer. I was in school for business at wiregrass college when I became pregnant with my daughter Chloe. My career path soon changed. I started photographing my daughter after she was born. Soon friends on social media started asking me if I could take photos for their families as well. Before you know it, I was photographing babies, families, couples, and more. I soon realized that this was where my passion was.
